How do these supermodels and Hollywood A-listers almost always look so chic, put-together and absolutely beautiful even on the streets? Well, the answer is a lot of secret beauty tips that they follow religiously and meticulously.

  1. 1 Rest. Sleep. Slay!

    Models have hectic schedules but if you think they work all day and party all night, you may be totally wrong. Many successful models who work all year round make it a point to have a full 8 hours of sleep every day because sleep is crucial for a rested body and face.  And that is why you always see models rested and happy on the go. Prepared to slay!

  2. 2 Quench it up!

    The human body is made up of 70% of water and since we lose a lot of it in form of sweat and waste, it only makes sense that we keep replenishing it. And that's what all supermodels do.

  3. 3 Never touch your face.

    Like many supermodels, Kendall Jenner is very specific about this rule. "Never touch your face, never pick your face, and wear eye cream" is the mantra her older sisters have lived by and now the youngers do.

  4. 4 Potato slice to take care of dark circles.


    This is quite an old beauty hack but apparently still in use and that too by the most beautiful people in the industry. A slice of potato placed over eyelids and left there for 15-20 minutes, about twice a week is all you need for reduced dark circles. 

  5. 5 Never go to bed with makeup on.

    We all know this by now but just to reiterate, leaving your makeup on while you sleep means clogged and closed pores for a huge stretch of time, and it will not turn out well. Not only you run the risk of breakouts and pimples, regularly doing it means setting up your skin for deeper problems. 

    So, always cleanse, wash and moisturize your face before going to bed.

  6. 6 Always moisturize.

    Moisturization is the key. And you don't have to break your bank to do it. While many models do use expensive products, a lot of them rely on natural products like coconut oil and olive oil. Just use them to moisturize your body every night or every other night and you may end up with a model's soft and supple skin.

  7. 7 Ditch the make up.

    You'll rarely see models walking down the street with tons of makeup on. In fact, most models, when not on duty, rarely put on any makeup and always sport a fresh face. That's because, in addition to makeup hiding a lot of imperfections, a high reliance on it will cause even more skin problems. So whenever possible, ditch the makeup and let your skin breathe.

  8. 8 Stick to your skincare routine.

    When you have created, developed and perfected your skincare routine, don't try to mix it up or experiment with newer products. In fact, most supermodels do not go for a lot of products and instead stick to their trusted skincare regimens.  It minimizes the risk of skin problems and lets you enjoy good skin every day.

  9. 9 Steam can unclog your pores.

    Do not underestimate the power of steam. If you have gone on for a long time with lots of makeup on your face, a good steam session may all be what your skin needs. 

    After wiping your face off all the gunk, use hot (not too hot!) water steam on your face to really clean away the dirt and blemishes. Just put your face over the hot steam and put a towel over your head to keep the steam in. Your pores will open up and you can literally see the dirt dripping down your face. Afterwards, clean it with rose water and cotton, and soothe the skin with a cucumber or egg-white mask to tighten the pores.

  10. 10 Eat right.

    This one is a no-brainer. By now we all know the importance of eating the right diet, exercising and taking care of your health. And supermodels take their diet very seriously. While we may not be able to afford the fancy nutritionist or expensive foods that these models diet on, we can always be conscious of our eating habits and making necessary changes.

    Remember, a good and beautiful skin is the combined work of all internal systems being in line. And you can achieve that with right diet and exercise.

  11. 11 Icing the skin.

    A lot of supermodels including Jasmine Tookes uses this incredible skincare hack where she soothes her puffed up face every morning with a pack of ice. You can do this either in the morning or include it in your nighttime skincare routine - simply grab some ice in a cloth or towel and put it on your face. It may not feel too pleasant in the morning, but the models swear by this method, so there must be something to it, right?

  12. 12 No makeup before the workout!

    You seriously should not have any makeup on in the morning before the gym.  If you have slept in your make up, wipe it off and wash your face before you start the workout. That's because if you are working out in the makeup, the sweat will clog your pores and you'll have breakouts.

    After you finish the workout, again wash and clean your face off all the sweat and effects of the workout, and soothe your skin.
